Our property is a legally permitted vacation rental as required by Charleston City ordinance. We are located in the awesome neighborhood of Cannonborough/Elliotborough and just one block from the heart of the entertainment district of Upper King Street.

As you pull into our driveway/parking area you'll feel like you are stepping into a garden oasis as the driveway is paved with bricks and has a bluestone courtyard surrounded by 10 palm trees, a huge magnolia tree, 5 large holly trees, a water oak at the back and over 100 plants.

Enjoy the whole top floor of the historic house. As you enter Unit B from your private, large porch, you will be stepping into the living room featuring a cathedral ceiling, original beams and fireplace, and historical hardwood flooring. The home was fully restored and renovated to result in Charleston charm with modern convenience.

Policy regarding Mandatory Evacuation: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Charleston County is given we will refund 100% of all deposits, payments and/or monies paid for the dates of the evacuation. We shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other US states or the world which prohibits you or your guests from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issue, and we will have no further liability. We strongly suggests that our guests obtain traveler's insurance but especially during months when there is a potential for inclement weather ( e.g. hurricane season).

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $250.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $250.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 72 hours away at time of booking..

We're Miki and Chuck , and Charleston has been our home for over 14 years. After two decades in the fast-paced Washington, D.C. area - Miki working in healthcare marketing and management, and Chuck in printing and marketing solutions - we were ready for a change. Drawn by the charm, warmth, and slower pace of the Lowcountry, we made Charleston our forever home. Chuck is originally from Florida and Miki from West Virginia. Since settling here, we've poured our hearts into restoring, renovating, and managing beautiful properties in historical downtown Charleston. We love strolling through the city, admiring its rich architecture, enjoying incredible local restaurants, and attending the many festivals and events that make Charleston special. On sunny days you'll often find us on the water or at the beach with our two sons Ryan and Alec.
